Cannadelic’s roots go back to the Florida Cannabis Coalition (FCC), which since 2014 has fostered a vibrant cannabis community through education and events across the state. FCC hosted hundreds of meetups and “Green Carpet” gatherings, giving entrepreneurs and enthusiasts a safe space to learn about cannabis wellness long before dispensaries were mainstream. Recognizing overlap between the cannabis and psychedelic movements, FCC launched the first Cannadelic Miami conference in 2022 – the country’s first expo blending both cannabis and psychedelics.

That inaugural event drew thousands of attendees, from legacy cannabis advocates to psychedelic researchers, proving that these once-separate communities had much to share. In fact, the Cannadelic team even partnered with universities (hosting an educational forum at FIU) as interest surged. What began as small business meetups has grown into “the world’s largest conference and expo converging the cannabis and psychedelics industries,” with over 150 exhibitors and countless experts coming together this year.

Cannadelic’s core mission remains the same: to advance understanding and appreciation of these plant medicines for healing, connection, and transformation – all in an inclusive, community-driven atmosphere.

This year’s event promises a welcoming mix of information, inspiration, and hands-on discovery (no hard-sell or hype here). Cannadelic Miami 2025 will feel part expo, part wellness festival, part runing off to join the circus. Here are some highlights we are looking forward to:

• Expert Talks & Panels

  Hear from leading doctors, scientists, and educators on topics ranging from cutting-edge research to real-life healing stories. These talks are grounded in science but always circle back to improving everyday wellness. You’ll learn about the latest in cannabis therapy, psychedelic-assisted treatments, and how these modalities are reshaping health and culture.

• Holistic Wellness Experiences

  It’s not just lectures – Cannadelic is interactive. Attendees can join yoga and meditation classes, breathwork sessions, and even sound healing or tantra workshops. By engaging in these practices, you get a feel for how cannabis and psychedelics intersect with mindfulness and intimacy in a safe, guided way. (Don’t worry – all experiences are optional and beginner-friendly.)

• Community & Expo

  The expo hall will host 150+ vendors - including us! - from CBD and functional mushroom brands to psychedelic education groups. This is a chance to chat one-on-one with product formulators, nonprofit organizers, and wellness coaches. Whether you’re interested in the latest cannabis-infused skincare or discussing microdosing research, there’s a friendly expert at every booth. The vibe is warm and curious – like a community fair where everyone shares a passion for plant medicine. Between sessions, you might find yourself sampling a new adaptogenic tea, browsing visionary art, or just connecting with like-minded folks on a similar healing journey.

On Saturday at noon, Cannadelic Miami 2025 hosts a panel called “The New Intimacy: How Cannabis & Psychedelics Are Changing Connection”, moderated by our own Heather Reilly Hiemstra, founder of Rockstar Blends. Heather’s down-to-earth style as a speaker has made a huge impact on past Cannadelic discussion panels on sex as a participant; this time she gets to set the tone for an honest dialogue about cannabis, psychedelics and intimacy among four expert panelists:

• Dr. Angela Fisher

  Integrative psychologist, founder of Bionic Bloom – the nation’s first legal psilocybin therapy center - and GenX Hits Menopause podcast guest, Dr. Fisher has guided patients through psychedelic-assisted therapy and seen how compounds like psilocybin can open people up emotionally. She’ll share insights on the science of connection, like how psychedelics and intimacy might interact in the brain and in couples’ therapy.

• Michelle Escalera

  Personal and spiritual development expert and podcast host, discusses the transformative potential of psychedelics in personal growth and relationships, emphasizing the importance of intentional use and integration.
